Specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 3 working days after collection and stored at 2-8℃; if they cannot be sent to the laboratory within 72h, they should be stored at -70℃ or below, and specimens should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Usage
1. Collect the sample with the sampling swab according to the sampling requirements.
2. Place the sampling swab into the sampling tube after collecting the sample.
3. Break the swab at the breakable cut-off point of the sampling swab rod and discard the tail.
4. Tighten the cap of the sampling tube.
5. Label the sampling tube with the information as required.
6. Specimens should be collected and transported within 3 working days to the inspection laboratory with the ability to test, the storage temperature of 2-8 ℃; if not sent to the laboratory within 72h, should be placed at -70 ℃ or below, the specimen should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
7. Specific sampling methods can refer to the following.
1) Pharyngeal swab specimen: use a special sampling swab, swab the posterior pharyngeal wall and both sides of the tonsils with moderate force, avoid touching the tongue; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling solution, break the swab at the easy-to-break cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail. (Applicable to this product sampling)
2) Nasal swab specimen: using a special sampling swab, gently insert the swab head into the nasal tract at the nasal palate, stay for a moment and then slowly turn to exit; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling solution, break the swab at the easy break-off cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail.
