Virus Sampling Tubes

Before sampling, the relevant information is marked on the label of the sampling tube.

Sampling is performed with the appropriate sampling swab.

At the end of the sampling, quickly put the swab into the sampling tube, break the part above the virus sampling tube, and screw the cap tightly.

Specific sampling methods are detailed as follows.

a) nasal swab: use the sampling head to quietly pierce the nasal palate in the nasal tract, stay for a moment and then slowly rotate out, dip the collected specimen into the sampling solution, break off the excess and discard, tighten the sampling tube cover.

b) pharyngeal swab: wipe the bilateral pharyngeal tonsils and posterior pharyngeal wall with the sampling head, dip the collected specimen into the sampling solution, break off the excess and discard, and screw the sampling tube cover.

c) Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Ureaplasma specimen sampling: men: use the sampling head to stab into the urethra about 2cm rotate, stay for a moment and then withdraw, the collected specimen will be immersed in the sampling fluid. Women: wipe off the mucus of the cervical opening, use the sampling head to stab into the cervical canal 1-2cm sampling, dip the collected specimen into the sampling fluid, break off the extra part and discard, screw the sampling tube cover.

Precautions

After the collection of pathogenic bacteria specimens, the disposable sampling swab should be thoroughly pierced into the preservation fluid to maximize the retention of pathogenic bacteria.

Collected specimens must be fresh and sent in time to avoid the death of pathogenic bacteria.

Stop using products with broken packaging and expiration dates to prevent contamination.
