New crown antigen test self-test pre-nasal swab sampling operation method steps? _New Coronary Antigen Test Self-Test Pre-Nasal Swab Manufacturer
The recent epidemic in many places in China, the epidemic prevention and control situation is complex and serious, in order to deal with the epidemic, the State Drug Administration approved a number of new crown antigen self-test products on the market. But about the "new crown antigen self-test" this new term, we still have a lot of questions.
It is understood that the antigen is like the outside of the virus wearing "clothes", nucleic acid is the virus inside the gene. Antigen testing is to measure the "clothes" from the antibodies, so that the virus shows up. Usually the antigen kit contains a single-use sterile sampling swab, sample extraction solution, test cards and biosafety garbage bags. The sample extraction solution also includes a sample extraction tube and drip tip. According to the instructions, the kit is to be stored within 2-30°C with a tentative expiration date of 6 months. After the aluminum foil bag is opened, the test card should be used as soon as possible within 1 hour. Sample extracts should be capped immediately after use.
Is the antigen self-test easy to perform? What are the steps? What do I need to pay special attention to?
(A) Preparation for antigen self-test
1. Wash your hands
Wash your hands with running water or hand sanitizer.
2. Understand the test procedure
Carefully read the instructions for the antigen self-test reagent and the precautions related to antigen self-test.
3. Reagent preparation
Check whether the antigen self-test reagents are within the shelf life, and check whether the contents of nasal swabs, sampling tubes, test cards, etc. are missing or broken. If the reagents are out of date or the contents of the reagents are missing or damaged, the test reagents should be replaced in a timely manner.
4. Confirm the environmental temperature and humidity requirements for testing
Colloidal gold test strips generally require testing at 14 ℃ -30 ℃ room temperature conditions, to avoid excessive cold, too hot or excessive humidity environment resulting in abnormal test results. Antigen test cards are placed in a flat, clean place after removal of packaging.
(B) Sample collection
1. Age 14 years or older, you can self-sample nasal swabs
Self-testers first use toilet paper to blow off the nose. Carefully unwrap the nasal swab, avoiding hand contact with the swab head. Then tilt the head slightly, hold the end of the swab with one hand and enter the nostril on one side, slowly penetrate 1-1.5 cm backward along the bottom of the lower nasal passage and then rotate the swab 5 times against the nasal cavity (dwell time not less than 15 seconds), then repeat the same operation for the other nasal cavity using the same swab.
2. Age 2-14 years old self-testers should be sampled by other adults on their behalf
When sampling, first blow the nose with toilet paper and then tilt the head slightly. The sampler should carefully unpack the nasal swab, avoid touching the swab head with the hand, gently support the head of the person being sampled with one hand, hold the swab against one side of the nostril and enter, slowly penetrate 1 cm backward along the bottom of the lower nasal passage and then rotate the nasal cavity for 5 turns (stay for not less than 15 seconds), and then repeat the same operation with the same swab for the other nasal cavity.
(C) Antigen detection
1. Place the nasal swab immediately after sample collection in the sampling tube according to the reagent instructions. The swab head should be swirled and mixed in the preserving solution for at least 30 seconds, while squeezing the swab head at least 5 times with the hand through the outer wall of the sampling tube to ensure that the sample is fully eluted in the sampling tube.
2. Squeeze the swab head liquid by hand through the outer wall of the sampling tube and discard the swab. After capping the sampling tube, drop the liquid vertically into the sample hole of the test card.
3. According to the reagent instructions, wait for a certain period of time before interpreting the results.
Positive result: "C" and "T" show a red or purple band, "T" band color can be dark or light, are positive results.
Negative result: red or purple band at "C", no band at "T".
Invalid result: No red or purple band at "C", regardless of whether the band is shown at "T" or not. The result is invalid, need to retake the test strip and retest.
Ltd. is a domestic supplier of Class II sterile nasal, pharyngeal and anterior nasal swabs with stable supply
It is reported that Shenzhen Huarui Kang Bio-Medical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully obtained the domestic class II sterile registration certificate as early as the beginning of the global epidemic, and is also one of the earlier batch of domestic enterprises to obtain the EU CE and FDA certification. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Shenzhen Medico biological production of sampling swab virus sampling tube has been exported in bulk to many countries.
