Pre-sampling preparation.
Do not eat or drink within 30 minutes. Please rinse your mouth well with water. Make sure the lining of the mouth is clean.
Special Note: Before sampling, please check the sampling box to confirm that the barcode and digital number in the four positions of [bag, bubble bag, two tubes, spare barcode sticker] are clear and consistent, if found damaged or blurred, please contact the sales staff to replace the sampling box.
Sampling method.
Wash your hands, remove the sampling stick, and brush the swab head up and down the inner wall of the mouth (inner cheek) more than 40 times to ensure that a sufficient amount of epithelial cells are scraped for DNA extraction.
Oral sampling, like brushing teeth, but do not touch the teeth and tongue to avoid scraping food debris from the teeth and affecting the test results.
Special note: In case of oral ulcers, bleeding, etc., avoid scraping and collecting from the wound area or wait for the wound to heal before sampling.
After sampling, unscrew a test tube with lysate, align the swab brush head that has been sampled with the mouth of the test tube, push the end of the scraper bar, and screw the cap tightly after the brush head has fallen into the test tube.
Turn over to see if the tube has been sealed to ensure no leakage.
Re-sampling.
Remove the other swab scraper stick and repeat the above steps on the other side of the oral cavity lining.
Scrape the two swabs at different locations on the left and right side of the oral cavity.
Put the two tubes with the swabs in the barcoded sample return bag and seal it.
