Virus sampling tube

The Virus sampling tube is used for the collection, transportation and storage of viral DNA/RNA samples. The product is suitable for the preservation of pharyngeal swabs, nasal swabs or specific site tissue samples after sampling, and the stored samples can be used for subsequent clinical experiments such as nucleic acid extraction or purification.

1 person: 1 5mL storage tube (containing 2mL of storage solution), 1 sampling swab, 1 biosafety bag

Storage conditions and expiration date

The product can be stored at 15-30℃ for 24 months before use.

After use, the product can be stored at room temperature for 1 week, for longer storage time, please put it at -80℃.

Usage:

1. Before sampling, mark the relevant sample information on the label of the sampling tube.

2. According to different sampling requirements, use the sampling swab to sample at the corresponding target site.

3. Quickly dip the sampled swab into the sterile sampling solution in the tube.

4. Break the part of the swab above the sampling tube, tighten the cap and shake it several times.

5. Place the sampling tube in a biosafety bag and seal the transfer.

Note: There are several specific sampling methods as follows.

a) Nasal swab: insert the swab head gently into the nasal tract at the nasal palate, stay for a moment and then slowly turn to exit. Swab the other nostril with another swab, dip the swab head into the sampling solution, and discard the tail. (Suitable for sampling with this product)

b) Pharyngeal swab: swab the tonsils and posterior pharyngeal wall bilaterally, again dipping the swab head into the sampling solution and discarding the tail. (Suitable for sampling with this product)

Caution:

1. Please use this product in strict accordance with the instructions

2. Observe whether there is any liquid leakage from the collection tube before use, if so, please do not use and discard.
