All parties involved in a paternity test are interested in getting accurate answers, so many parties are very concerned about the accuracy of the paternity test report. What kind of DNA paternity test is the most accurate?

DNA paternity samples are diverse, such as toothbrushes, bloodstains, semen, semen spots, chewing gum, mineral water bottles, razors, mouth swabs, blood, hair, nails, cigarette butts, etc. can all be used for paternity testing. In fact, the accuracy of the results of paternity testing has long been proven to be true and valid, and the identification samples have nothing to do with each other, only the difference between a valid sample and an invalid sample for identification samples, to extract DNA is a valid sample, and vice versa is invalid.

A person's DNA does not change, as long as the DNA can be extracted, no matter what sample is chosen, the accuracy is the same.

DNA paternity test common sample collection methods.

Oral swab collection method.

This method is applicable to all age groups.

First rinse your mouth with water, then reach into your mouth with a single-ended medical swab and repeatedly wipe the inside of your mouth on both cheeks for more than 10 times, then remove the swab and collect at least five swabs in the same way, air-dry the swabs and place them in a clean paper envelope. Note that the samples of different identifiers were placed in separate paper envelopes and marked clearly on the envelopes, such as the date of collection and the person to whom the sample belonged.

Caution:

① Do not touch the swab tip of the oral swab with your hands to avoid contamination;

② oral swabs must be air-dried and put into a clean paper envelope to avoid oral swabs mold affect detection. If there is no paper envelope, the oral swab can also be wrapped in clean white paper, and make a good mark on the white paper.

Hair collection method

Grasp with hands about 4 cm from the root of the hair, forcefully pull off at least 5 hairs on a paper envelope or clean white paper (the end of the hair can be seen clearly the hair follicle, that is, the white material at the root of the hair), pull off the hair needs to air dry for a few minutes and then put into a clean paper envelope, or wrapped in white paper (because the freshly harvested hairs are more viscous, such as immediately put into the bag hair follicles may stick to the bag wall, affecting the extraction of DNA). Note that different samples will be placed separately and not in contact with each other, and mark clearly on the envelope or white paper the date of collection, the person to whom the sample belongs, etc.

Precautions.

①Do not touch the follicular part of the hair, which is the white material at the root of the hair, with your hands;

(2) To ensure the validity of the sample, do not provide hairs that have been shed naturally, cut off, or left for a long time after being plucked.
