Single-use virus sampling tubes (instructions for use) non-inactivated

Huarakang single-use virus preservation tube

【Model specification

Specification: 3.0ml/pcs, 100pcs/box

Model: Type II: (non-inactivated type with swab)

【Intended Use】

For sample collection, transportation and storage, etc.

【Test Principle】

The osmolarity maintenance agent contained in the preservation solution maintains an isotonic environment and protects the cells, which in turn can protect the virus living in the camp cells.

The pH buffer inside the preservative ensures that the environment inside the preservative is not affected by internal and external factors that may cause drastic pH fluctuations, providing a stable and suitable pH environment for the virus inside the preservative.

The included stabilizers increase the survival time and viability retention time of viruses in the preservation solution when they exist independently, and the inhibitors inhibit the viability of non-viral microbial species such as miscellaneous bacteria in the sample to ensure that the viability of viruses in the sample is basically not adversely affected by miscellaneous bacteria. The nutrients contained in the preservative provide a basic source of nitrogen, carbon or other nutrients necessary for the survival of the virus or parasitic cells, and maintain the virus or parasitic cells necessary to maintain viral viability due to impaired nutritional activity, which is also required to maintain the viability of the virus in the sample.

The indicator contained in the preservation solution can be an acid-base indicator, the color change area pH 6.8 (yellow) ~ 8.0 (purple-red).

【Main composition

Composed of sampling tubes, flocked swabs, preservation solution, etc.

Storage conditions and expiration date

Storage conditions: room temperature, avoiding light Validity: 12 months

Note: Sampling tubes with samples built in, generally need to be stored and transported at 2-8℃.

【Sample requirements】

Specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 3 working days after collection and stored at 2-8℃.

If the specimen cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 72h, it should be stored at -70℃ or below, and the specimen should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Usage

1. Collect the sample with the sampling swab according to the sampling requirements.

2. Place the sampling swab into the sampling tube after collecting the sample.

3. Break the swab at the breakable cut-off point of the sampling swab rod and discard the tail.

4. Tighten the cap of the sampling tube.

5. Label the sampling tube with the information as required.

6. Specimens should be collected and transported within 3 working days to a testing laboratory with the ability to test, the storage temperature of 2-8 ℃; if not sent to the laboratory within 72h, should be placed at -70 ℃ or below, the specimen should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

7. Specific sampling methods can refer to the following.

1) pharyngeal swab specimen: use a special sampling swab, swab the posterior pharyngeal wall and both sides of the tonsil area with moderate force.

Should avoid touching the tongue; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling solution, break the swab at the easy-to-break cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail. (For sampling with this product)

2) Nasal swab specimen: using a special sampling swab, gently insert the swab head into the nasal tract at the nasal palate, stay for a

After a few moments, slowly rotate the swab head to exit; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling solution, break the swab at the easy-to-break cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail. (Applicable to this product sampling)

Note: The product with a single sampling swab

Limitations of the test method]
