Medical sterile flocked sampling swab
I. Test principle
Viruses consist of a nucleic acid molecule and protein or only protein, with tiny individuals and simple structures. Since there is no cellular structure, the virus cannot replicate itself, but invades its genes into the host cell and replicates a new virus with the help of the latter's replication system. After the virus sample is collected, the sampled swab is placed in preservation solution for preservation and transport in order to maintain the activity of the virus sample and prolong the survival time of the virus in the sample.
Virus preservation fluid components and testing principles.
1、The components of the preservation solution are: Hanks liquid base, gentamicin, fungal antibiotics, BSA (V), cryoprotectants, biological buffers and amino acids, etc.
2、A variety of antibiotics combined, with anti-bacterial and antifungal effects.
3, Bovine serum albumin (BSA) as a protein stabilizer, can form a protective film in the protein shell of the virus, so that it is not easy to decompose, to ensure the integrity of the virus.
4、The neutral environment built by Hanks buffer helps to increase the survival time and infection stability of the virus.
5, used for clinical influenza, avian influenza (such as H7N9), hand, foot and mouth disease, measles and other viral specimens and mycoplasma, ureaplasma, chlamydia and other specimens collection and delivery.
Second, the use of methods
1、Before sampling, indicate the sample information on the label;
2、According to different experimental purposes, use the sampling swab to sample the corresponding parts;
3、After sampling, quickly put the swab into the sterile sampling tube, break it at the fracture point, and screw the cap;
4, freshly collected specimens can be transported to the laboratory under normal conditions, the effect of transport with ice bags will be better;
5、Specific sampling methods are as follows:
a) nasal swab: the swab head gently inserted into the nasal cavity sampling, with another swab to collect another nasal sample in the same way the swab head immersed in the sampling fluid, the tail discarded.
b) pharyngeal swab: swab to collect samples from the throat, the same swab head into the sampling fluid, the tail discarded.
Caution
1、Storage time: 24 months, storage temperature: 5-25℃
2、This product is for in vitro diagnostic use only
3、This product is only suitable for trained personnel to use
4、When using this product, gloves and mask should be worn for good protection.
5、Waste sample collection solution should be sterilized
6、If the sample preservation solution is found to be expired, the preservation solution is muddy with oil, leakage and other phenomena, it is prohibited to use
7、If the sampling swab package is found to be broken, it should be prohibited to use
Fourth, product features
1、 Sampling swab using flocked swabs. Compared with the conventional fiber swab, the sample is easy to be intercepted by the gap within the fiber mass, that is, the sample is penetrated, diluted, intercepted in the fiber. Flocked swabs use a unique jet implanted nylon fluff technology, with outstanding sample collection and release capacity, the release rate can reach 90%, much higher than fiber swabs.
2、The antibiotics in the sampling fluid can effectively prevent bacterial and fungal contamination.
3、The sampling fluid is added with bovine serum albumin, which can protect virus samples and improve the separation rate
