Author: Site Editor Publish Time: 2021-02-12 Origin: Site

Ltd. is a universal sampling product, used for sampling of virus specimens such as 2019-nCoV, influenza virus, avian influenza, hand, foot and mouth, measles, etc. and mycoplasma, chlamydia, ureaplasma, etc., stored and transported for a short time at 2-8℃ and stored for a long time at -80℃ in refrigerator or liquid nitrogen environment.

Product features:

Components of the non-inactivated model virus sampling tube medium: Hanks solution, antibiotics, BSA, cryoprotectants, biological buffers and amino acids, etc.

The medium uses a combination of multiple antibiotics to effectively prevent bacterial and fungal contamination.

Virus sampling tube

Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is added to the medium as a protein stabilizer, which protects virus samples and improves the isolation rate.

Thickened and leak-proof design ensures no leakage of samples, complying with WHO regulations as well as biosafety regulations

Uses:

For sampling of viral specimens such as 2019-nCoV, influenza virus, avian influenza, hand, foot and mouth, measles, etc. and mycoplasma, chlamydia, ureaplasma, etc.

Description:

If the collected samples are used for the detection of viral nucleic acid, they need to be used with nucleic acid extraction kits and nucleic acid detection reagents; if used for virus isolation purposes, they need to be used with cell culture media.

Usage:

Before sampling the virus sampling tube, indicate the sample information on the label;

Sampling swabs were used at the appropriate sites according to the purpose of the experiment;

After sampling, quickly place the swab in a sampling tube containing virus transport medium, break it at the break point and tighten the cap;

Specimens collected fresh using non-inactivated tubes should be transported to the laboratory within 48 h at 2-8°C. Specimens for virus isolation and nucleic acid detection should be tested as soon as possible. Specimens tested within 24 hours can be stored at 4°C; specimens that cannot be tested within 24 hours should be stored at -70°C or below (if -70°C storage conditions are not available, they should be stored temporarily in a -20°C refrigerator).

Specific sampling methods are as follows:

a) Nasal swab: insert the swab head gently into the nasal canal at the nasal palate, stay for a moment and then slowly turn to exit. Swab the other nostril with another swab, dip the swab head into the sampling solution, break it off at the fracture point and discard it. (Suitable for sampling with this product)

b) Pharyngeal swab: swab both pharyngeal tonsils and posterior pharyngeal wall, again, dip the swab head into the sampling solution and discard. (Suitable for sampling with this product).

Caution:

This product is for in vitro diagnostic use only.

The liquid in the virus sampling tube is transport medium and should not be dipped in the sampling swab before sampling.

Discarded sample collection fluid should be sterilized.

If the transport medium is found to be out of date, the liquid is discolored, cloudy or leaking, it is prohibited to use it.
